Legends of the Nith Kier

The oldest legend amongst the Four Realms, existing far beyond when the Dynasties of Valhalla split and formed into five. Beyond when Eden called for peace and joined all clans into one.

Far, far beyond when Terra's gates collapsed to let Gaia's elements run rampant.

The Nith Kier; creatures who travel amongst the mist and the rain. Among the shadows and dappled light. Etheral, immortal, glorious and resplendent, they are said to be as old as the Realms themselves.

Each realm commands their own, born from the elementals and the souls flowing to and from Tze'Chean, the Core.

They are said to be equine in form; noble and proud. Draconian in features; terrifying and awe-inspiring. They guard each Realm from each other, protecting the elements from spilling over to the others by absorbing it into their own Selves. As such, they are powerful in nature and nigh impervious to any threats.

There are two types of Nith Kier, the Companions and the Sentinels.

The Companions are the lesser form; they do not take after any element. Instead they are isolated in a small area and befriends easily with other creatures. They bond with others in order to protect them and they sport a number of mutations to aid in doing so. They are pre-existing and can be found easily amongst the Realms.

The Sentinels are those that the legends speak of, and not much is known about them except for what has been said beforehand.

That they are etheral. Immortal. Glorious. Resplendent.

As old as the Realms themselves.
