A fearsome creature, it guards its charges almost zealously. Its jaws are strong enough to crush bone, and the whip-like antenna on its forehead emits a burst of electricity, stunning an attacker, or when they're hunting, prey.

Despite its appearance and name, the Flierfox does not fly. Instead, what appears to be its wings are actually extended fur. They are able to withstand extreme cold and surprisingly they can live in water as well. Their thick fur is waterproof and keeps them well insulated from the frigid temperatures.

A cousin to the Flierfox, the Fluffox are the domesticated versions. Over centuries, people have been selectively breeding them to the form that you now see.

The Flutterby lives exclusively in a small secluded area on Gaia. Currently under intensive efforts to keep these rare endangered birds, the forest is guarded by the Wood elves residing there.

A very curious animal, the Garletos lives in wide shallow ponds found throughout the whole of Gaia. As the clear waters provide no hiding places for them, they opt to cut pieces of the meadow from around the pond and place them on their backs. When danger is sensed, they hide into their shells and simply blend into the surroundings.

The Kusi are believed to be the origins of the rabbits found in Terra. They tend to build a large network of tunnels where they hunt for tubers and small creatures to snack on. They avoid coming out during the day time, but once night falls they herd the little ones outside for playtime.

The Letas is a very new breed in Gaia. It was called into existence during a summon gone haywire, and ended up fusing the Ohai and Roz together.

Extremely cute, the Ohai can be found lumbering around in a specific area in Gaia; the Hartling woods which is guarded by the Elves. Always in two minds about everything, they squabble with their opposing personality all the time.

A much loved pet, the Roz is a boon to those who love to work in the gardens and fields. Preying on the small insects and other pests which would otherwise harm the plants, the Roz mimics a flower and entices its prey to come closer before snacking on it.

One of the most amusing creatures on Gaia! This particular creature appears to look like a mushroom in an attempt to fool other mushrooms that it, indeed, is one of them. It then ambushes the unsuspecting fungi and then feed on them.

Unlike its cousins in Terra, the Swunk exudes a very pleasant aroma. This is from its diet of flower nectar and petals, supplimented with honey it steals from bee hives. The thickness of its coat protects it from stings and its thin limbs easily pry the hive apart to expose the much loved honey.

The Terter is a very comical creature, with its long and stout snout and cheerful crinkled eyes. The ancestor of Terra’s anteaters, the Terter is a very gentle and docile pet.
