The Shara are a very strange breed. Both organic and non at the same time, their bodies appear to have fused with metal and gems. Their heads are adorned with glass helmets and their very selves appear to glow.
As the warlords have their Az'hals, as the children have their Hat'zes. As the mages have their T'zjeal... the Shara serves the scholars. Their intelligence is unmatched amongst all demons and in a realm as wrecked by the wars waged between each dynasty, their precesnce and skills place them far, far from the bounderies of pricelessness.
They come in 4 particular stages shown as the following;
This is the Shara's raw form. A mass of energized gems, all that is needed is a soul spark for it to grow.
Essence
Once a soul spark enters the crystalline form, the crystal shatters as the demon takes on a more incoporeal form. This is the demon at its most vulnerable; when presented to Viscasi, she may add other items to influence the adult form.
Adult
The true form of the Shara is revealed; they will then take on male or female forms. This is usually the final stage of their evolution.
Elder
The highest form a demon may achieve; these Shara are exceedingly difficult to find. Since they are fused with Terra's energy, they are doubly rare compared to the other breeds.
